What TACT is
TACT is an AI-assisted communication coach. It helps you draft language for difficult conversations across work, family, partner, friend, and community contexts. The output is generated by a large language model based on the information you provide.
What TACT is not
TACT is not a substitute for professional advice. Specifically, TACT does not provide and is not:
- Legal advice. Using TACT does not create an attorney–client relationship.
- Medical or mental-health advice. Using TACT does not create a clinician–patient or therapist–client relationship.
- HR or employment-law guidance binding on any employer.
- Financial, tax, or accounting advice.
- Crisis intervention. See "Crisis situations" below.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for how, when, and whether you use any script or suggestion generated by TACT. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Always use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional — a lawyer, licensed therapist, physician, HR officer, or domain expert — before acting on anything sensitive, high-stakes, or legally significant.
Crisis situations
TACT is not designed for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. In the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or 1-800-799-7233 for the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
No warranty
TACT is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TACT, ST4Y READY, and their affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or reliance on, TACT or its output — including damages to relationships, employment, reputation, finances, or wellbeing.
Changes
We may update this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of TACT after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
